A FAMILY OF INTEGRALS OCCURRING IN THE THEORY OF WATER WAVES

An analysis is made of integrals of the form

directed towards finding efficient methods of computation. Particularly useful results are differential equations in theß-direction and expansions in terms of Bessel functions which approximate to the integrals asymptotically.
