This paper is concerned with the motion of incompressible fluids in a porous medium taking place only when the modulus of the gradient of the dynamic pressure surpasses a given value. The equation (12) which is satisfied by the function
defined by (1) and (3) is deduced.
A general approximate method of solution is described, and some particular exact solutions are obtained.
