THE EVALUATION OF INTEGRALS OF PRODUCTS OF LINEAR SYSTEM RESPONSES
PART II. CONTINUED-FRACTION METHODS
( (Imperial College London) )
In Part I (1) it was shown that the evaluation of integrals of the forms
and
, where r = 0, 1, ..., and x and y have prescribed rational function
Laplace transforms, depends on the determination of polynomials u, v such that
, where f, g, and N are prescribed polynomials. A method of solution t of this equation by means of continued fractions is dascribed which is more economical than standard methods.
