A CONTINUUM THEORY OF DISLOCATIONS FOR POLAR ELASTIC MATERIALS

A dynamical theory is given for an oriented material, each material point having three associated directors. The kinematical quantities arising in the theory are identified with the geometrical structures used in earlier theories of continuously dislocated crystals.
