STRESSES IN AN INFINITE PLATE WITH TWO UNEQUAL CIRCULAR HOLES

R. A. W. HADDON

( Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Sydney )

The first boundary-value problem of plane elastostatics is solved for an infinite region bounded by two non-intersecting circles. The region is mapped conformally onto an annulus and complex variable techniques are used to obtain a closed solution in series form.
