SHORT SURFACE WAVES GENERATED BY TWO HEAVING CYLINDERS

Two parallel, partially immersed, heaving cylinders generate high-frequency surface waves. The results of Rhodes-Robinson (1) are readily adapted to this situation and exact solutions are obtained for a variety of combinations of circular cylinders.
