DIFFRACTION OF AN E- OR H-POLARIZED ELECTROMAGNETIC PLANE WAVE BY A RIGHT-ANGLE WEDGE WITH IMPERFECTLY CONDUCTING FACES

A. D. RAWLINS

( Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Brunel University Uxbridge UB8 3PH )

We give a solution to the boundary-value problem related to the physical problem of diffraction of an E- or H-polarized plane wave incident on an imperfectly conducting right-angle wedge. The conductivity of the wedge is assumed to be such that surface waves may propagate along the wedge faces.
