A NOTE ON THE MISE-KUNII THEORY OF BRIDGE VIBRATIONS

This note deseribes briefly a number of points in relation to the Mise-Kunii theory for the oscillations of a railway bridge under the action of a moving load; these may be of some interest in comparing this new approach with the earlier theories of Sir Charles Inglis.
